You can get to Plitvice by Bus departing from Zagreb, Zadar and Split, the bus will stop at the entrance of the park. Here you must buy a ticket to enter the park. This ticket entitles you to free travel on the boats which run on the lakes.

Climate
The best time to visit the park is in the summer, when the weather is nice and hot . The only problem can be that it is the park busiest time. So it can get crowded in the park.
