Accessibility and Accommodation
There are 3 airports near the National Park. The Phalabora airport, Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport and Malelane Regional Airport. From here it is easy to go to entrance gates.
There are scheduled flight departing from Johannesburg International airport, Durban, Cape Town and Vilanculos to the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport and The Phalabora airport.
The Malelane Regional Airport is mainly used for private flights and business aircraft's.
There are 9 different entrances of the park, so you will have to choose which one you want to enter. Each entrance of the park offers different tours and accommodations.
The infrastructure around the National Park is outstanding for South African standards, so it is advisable to rent a car. Inside of the park it is only allowed to travel with a car because of all the dangers that the wildlife can bring.
There are a lot of hotels and camp-sites in the area around the National Park, the camps are often well maintained. Most camps offer various types of accommodation for 2 to 6 persons in a hut/bungalow/tent/ without kitchen and bathroom. The more luxurious camp sites offers lodging with private bathrooms and private kitchens.

The Kruger National Park isn't open all day and night,
* November-January - Open 4h30 (camp gate) and 5h30 (entry gate), close 18h30
* February - Open 5h30, close 18h30
* March- Open 5h30, close 18h00
* April - Open 6h00, close 18h00
* May-July - Open 6h00, close 17h30
* August/September - Open 6h00, close 18h00
* October - Open 5h30, close 18h00
* November-January - Open 4h30 (camp) and 5h30 (entry, close 18h30)
If you are later back in the camp or found driving around at night, you will be charged very high rates. So make sure to be out or back in the camp before closing time.
Tourist Attractions
Trailing
Trailing without a car is possible in the Kruger Park, you have to be accompanied by a guide from the Paul Kruger National Park. The guide will shoe the hot spots of the park where you can sit down and spot the magnificent wildlife.
Play Golf
For Golf enthusiasts there is a 9 hole golf course in Skukuza, originally the course was made for the local personal, but recently they opened it to the public.

There is not a best time to visit the Kruger National Park, the Kruger park is magnificent all the seasons.
Average weather conditions
Generally the Kruger National Park is a dry and hot area, regardless of summer and winter. The South African summer can get hot and sunny with an occasional shower, with a temperature that doesn't get below 20 degrees. The winter the temperatures are milder with an average of 10 to 25 degrees.
