About the park

The Kruger National Park is a park in South Africa. It is the largest reserve in South Africa and is just as big as the country of Wales. The park runs along side the border of Mozambique in the east and Zimbabwe in the north.

In this park you can find all the Big Five game animals, the phrase Big Five game refers to the five large mammals that were sought in Africa. This is a often used term in tourist and wildlife guides in Africa.
The 5 animals are: The Lion, The African elephant, The African Buffalo, The Leopard and the Black rhinoceros.
