About the park
There are no words that can describe the extraordinary waterfalls of Iguazu.
The national park Iguazu is located on the border of the Brazilian state Paraná and the Argentinian province of Misiones.
Here you can find the Iguazu River, a remarkable waterfall system that consists of about 270 falls.
Some falls are up to 100 meters in height, while the smaller ones are about 64 meters.
The Gargenra del Diablo, the devil's throat is the most impressive of all. A U-shaped 150 meter wide and 700 meter long waterfall that marks the border between Argentina and Brazil.
Aside from the amazing fall, Iguazu is a beautiful green national park, with a diverse ecosystem.
In the Parque das Aves there are over 800 different types of birds that you can spot, in their natural habitat.
The park is amazingly beautiful and
truly one of the most exhilarating places in Southern America.
