The Park
The Indians call it their river of grass. The 1.5 million acres stretching national park in Florida is simply amazing.
Experts estimate that this damp and flat region is no more than 7000 years old. The 'river of grass' is home to hundreds of birds species, fish and amphibians.
The Everglades National park is to be found in the southern part of Florida. The park covers over six thousand km.
It is also known as the only place in America where you can find crocodiles and Alligators in the same region.
